Privacy Policy

Agent Station, Inc. is a technology company based in Seoul, South Korea. Manshin is our AI companion service designed for personal use, provided through our mobile application and website. This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected through the Manshin application and any related services we provide.

We collect information in the following categories:

Account Information. We collect your name when you create or use an account. If you sign up with an email, we collect your email address. If you use social login through Google, Apple, Kakao, or another provider, we collect your email address only if you agree to share it with us. We also receive the identifiers and other account details the provider passes along to enable social login.

Payment and Transaction Information. When you make a purchase (BOK credits or subscriptions), payment is processed by the payment providers listed in Section 5, depending on the purchase channel. We do not directly collect or store payment instrument details (such as credit card numbers). However, we collect and retain the following transaction information for purchase confirmation and transaction management: order details, payment amount and currency, type of payment method (e.g., card, easy pay, bank transfer, virtual account), payment approval results, and transaction identifiers (such as masked card numbers).

User Content. We collect the inputs you provide to Manshin (text, images, and other content), personal profile information you provide for personalization features (such as date of birth, birth time, and other details used for personalization features), and the outputs generated by the Service in response to your inputs. We recommend that you do not include sensitive information (such as health information) in your conversations; where included, it is used only to generate responses.

Communication Information. If you contact us for support or other inquiries, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your communications.

Feedback. We collect any feedback, suggestions, or reviews you provide about the Service.

Technical Information. We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Service, including:

• Device type, model, and operating system version;
• Unique device identifiers;
• IP address;
• App version and usage data;
• Crash logs and performance data;
• Browser type (if accessing any web features).

Location Data. We may collect general location information (such as country or city) based on your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location data unless you explicitly grant permission.

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

• Providing the Service: To operate, maintain, and deliver the features and functionality of Manshin;
• Account Management: To create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, and process transactions;
• Payment and Transaction Management: To process payments, confirm purchases, handle refunds and withdrawals, and retain transaction records as required by law;
• Improving the Service: To analyze usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and improve the quality and safety of our AI models and Service;
• Communication: To respond to your inquiries, send service-related notifications, and provide customer support;
• Advertising: To send you promotional updates about Manshin, such as news, events, and offers, if you have opted in to receive them;
• Safety and Security: To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues;
• Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes;
• AI Training: To improve and train our AI models, subject to your privacy settings and choices (see Section 13).

Manshin uses a combination of Agent Station's proprietary AI models and third-party artificial intelligence service providers to process your inputs and generate personalized responses.

What Data Is Sent. When you use the AI features of the Service, the following data may be processed by our proprietary AI models and/or transmitted to third-party AI service providers as processing entrusted for response generation:

• Text inputs, including your questions, prompts, and conversational messages;
• Personal profile information you have provided, such as date of birth, birth time, and other details used for personalization features;
• Images you upload or provide through the Service.

Who Receives Your Data. We use the following third-party AI service providers to process your data:

• OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.) — Privacy Policy
• Google (Google LLC) — Privacy Policy
• xAI (xAI Corp.) — Privacy Policy
• Anthropic (Anthropic, PBC) — Privacy Policy

Third-Party Safeguards. Each AI service provider processes your data only within the scope of the entrusted purpose under contractual obligations. For details of international transfers, including retention periods, see Section 6.

Opt-Out. You can stop the transmission of data to third-party AI services at any time by discontinuing use of the AI features within the Service. You may also delete the data we hold about you by deleting your account in the application (information retained under law is governed by Section 7).

Disclosure of International Transfers. Transfers to the above providers constitute cross-border transfers entrusted for service provision (response generation), as described in Section 6.

We may provide or entrust processing of your personal information in the following circumstances:

• Third-Party AI Service Providers: We process your Input (text, personal profile information, and images) using our proprietary AI models and third-party AI providers including OpenAI, Google, xAI, and Anthropic to process your requests and generate responses. See Section 4 for details;
• Service Providers: With third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, customer support tools), subject to confidentiality obligations;
• Payment Processing: Depending on the purchase channel, information necessary for payment is provided to or processed by Apple Inc., Google LLC, Toss Payments Co., Ltd., or Polar Software, Inc.;
• Analytics and Ad Measurement: Processing of usage and device data is entrusted to Google LLC for service analytics, and advertising identifiers and purchase event data may be provided to Meta Platforms, Inc. for ad measurement (opt out: the advertising opt-out in Section 13 and your device settings);
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
• Safety and Rights: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Agent Station, our users, or the public;
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction;
• With Your Consent: In any other circumstances where you have given your explicit consent.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Entrusted Processing. We entrust the processing of personal information to the AI service providers listed in Section 4 and to cloud and analytics providers (such as Amazon Web Services and Google), which are located abroad, including in the United States. When you use the relevant feature, the minimum information necessary for that feature is transmitted in encrypted form, retained for the period under each provider's policies and then destroyed (subject to extension in exceptional cases such as legal requirements), and is not used beyond the entrusted purpose. Providers may change.

Provision to Third Parties. Information may be provided to Polar Software, Inc. (United States) to process payments for users residing outside the Republic of Korea, and to Meta Platforms, Inc. (United States) for ad measurement.

Refusal. The transfers above are essential to providing the Service; if you do not agree, you may refuse them by discontinuing use of the Service and deleting your account. Other ways to exercise your rights are set out in Section 13.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:

• For the duration of your account and a reasonable period thereafter;
• As necessary to comply with our legal obligations (e.g., tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements);
• To resolve disputes and enforce our agreements;
• For legitimate business purposes, such as improving and training our AI models.

When your personal information is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with applicable laws.

In particular, the following information is retained for the periods below as required by applicable law:

• Records of contracts and withdrawals: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and Article 6 of its Enforcement Decree);
• Records of payments and supply of goods or services: 5 years (same);
• Records of consumer complaints and dispute handling: 3 years (same);
• Records of display and advertising: 6 months (same);
• Service access logs: 3 months (internal policy and applicable law).

We destroy personal information without delay when the retention period expires or the purpose of processing is achieved.

• Procedure: Information subject to destruction is selected and destroyed. Information that must be retained under statute (such as the records in Section 7) is stored and managed separately from other personal information and is not used for purposes other than retention.
• Method: Information in electronic file form is permanently deleted in a manner that prevents recovery or reproduction; other records and printouts are shredded or incinerated.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to provide personalized services and analyze how the Service is used.

• Purposes: Maintaining login sessions, saving preferences such as language, and usage analytics (web analytics tools).
• How to refuse: You may refuse or delete cookies via your browser settings (e.g., Chrome — Settings › Privacy and security › Cookies).
• Effect of refusal: Refusing cookies may limit some features, such as staying logged in.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit.

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at manshin@agsn.ai.

Under the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and other applicable laws, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: You may request access to the personal information we hold about you;
• Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information;
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions;
• Data Portability: You may request a copy of your personal information in a structured, commonly used format;
• Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal information at any time;
• Advertising Opt-Out: You may opt out of the use of your personal information for advertising purposes, including personalized advertising, at any time;
• AI Training Opt-Out: You may opt out of having your content used for AI model training through the application settings.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at manshin@agsn.ai. We will respond to your request within the timeframe required by applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by other means prior to the changes becoming effective. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

We designate a person responsible for the overall management of personal information processing and for handling related complaints and remedies (the "Personal Information Protection Officer"). Requests to access personal information are received and handled by the Personal Information Protection Officer.
